This website is operated by Cath, trading as Coastal Creativity, a sole trader based in Bath and Scotland. We sell and take enquiries for handcrafted jewellery, textiles, and map art inspired by the British coastline.

What personal data we collect and why

Email enquiries When you contact us via any of the “Enquire” or “Say Hello” mailto links on this site, your email address and any personal information you include in your message are received directly into our email inbox. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and fulfil any resulting order. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

We retain email correspondence for up to 2 years for the purposes of customer service and order records.

Cookies This website uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to remember your cookie consent preferences (set by the GDPR Cookie Compliance plugin). No other cookies are currently set by this site. You can manage or disable cookies at any time using the cookie settings panel accessible via the footer of this website.

Server/hosting logs Like most websites, our hosting provider (Hostinger) may automatically collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties. Your enquiry emails are processed via Google Workspace (Gmail). Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

  • Server logs: As per Hostinger’s data retention policy

Your rights

Where your data is sent

Email enquiries are processed via Google Workspace servers, which may be located outside the UK. Google maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Server infrastructure may include locations within and outside the UK/EEA. Hostinger is subject to GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.


How we protect your data

This website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our server. Access to email correspondence is protected by two-factor authentication. As a small sole trader, we keep personal data to a minimum and do not store it in any third-party CRM or marketing platform.
